In MATLAB we have a function named hist () which allows us to plot a bar graph. MATLAB can be used to plot our data for visualizing and intuitively understanding it. Bins are non-overlapping intervals in which the data is spread. Basically, the histogram contains several bins. If what you want is for the plot to "grow" point by point: the easiest way is to create an empty plot and then update its XData and YData properties at each iteration: h = plot(NaN,NaN) %// initiallize plot. A Histogram is a diagrammatic representation of a group of data over user-specified ranges.
